In the mysterious and surreal zone between Tehran and Winnipeg, the fates of many characters intertwine in surprising and mysterious ways. Elementary school students Negin and Nazgol find a sum of money frozen in the winter ice and try to recover it. Meanwhile, Massoud guides a group of increasingly disoriented tourists to Winnipeg’s landmarks and historical sites. Matthew quits his dead-end government job in Quebec and sets off on a mysterious journey to visit his mother. Space, time, and individual identities intersect, intertwine, and echo in this surreal comedy of disorientation.
